Meals

Healthy nutrition is part of the education

Between the ages of 6 and 18, a child spends most of their day at school. What they eat during this time directly affects their growth, concentration, mood, and academic performance. That is why meals at Space School are not an "extra service," but a part of a well-thought-out educational environment.

Four balanced meals a day

The students' diet is designed taking into account age-appropriate norms for calories, proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. The meal plan includes four meals during the school day: breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack, and a second lunch/snack for those staying for the after-school program.

The menu always includes:

  • Protein alternatives — meat, fish, or poultry at every meal
  • Fresh vegetables and greens — a salad bar with a wide selection
  • Natural beverages — no sodas or sugary concentrates
  • Low sugar content in pastries and desserts
  • Seasonal fruits — daily

The menu is created by a nutritionist and adapted to the children's age: portion sizes for a primary school student and a teenager are different.

What we do not serve

  • Sugary sodas
  • Fast food
  • Processed convenience foods
  • Deep-fried foods

The school cafeteria uses fresh ingredients delivered daily, with no freezing of prepared meals.

Transparent menu for parents

The school cafeteria menu is published weekly, so parents know in advance what their child will eat every day. This helps in planning meals at home, managing allergies, and understanding what the child eats outside the home.
